Drumbeg Drive Waste Water Pumping Station

Project Overview: 

The Drumbeg Drive WwPS acts as the terminal pumping station for the Lisburn sewerage catchment and therefore receives the majority of the sewerage flows from the Lisburn sewerage network. The WwPS is a critical asset within the catchment but due to its age and condition is the cause of significant issues within the sewerage network including the discharge of unscreened flows to the River Lagan.

This project involved the decommissioning of the old pumping station and providing a new WwPS comprising of 4 Number sewage pumps and associated equipment installed in two newly constructed 20m diameter * 9m deep chambers.  FM Environmental Ltd were responsible for the M&E works involved in the project as detailed below.
